DPSFC provides all the equipment needed to run a successful practice. We need YOU the Coach and leader of the team to help us return the gear where it belongs.
When your practice is complete - please ensure the following:
- White goals are returned behind the concession stand
- Collapsible goals are returned to the training storage room
- Cones, hoops, soccer balls, etc. are returned to the training storage room
- Examine practice area for any leftover water bottles or player gear

DPSFC encourages all coaches to download the MOJO app. MOJO is a great resource for coaches of young athletes ━ providing compelling, easy-to-follow instructions so you can give your players the best, even as a first time coach

GRASSROOTS RECERTIFYING REFEREE LICENSING COURSE
DPSFC is offering the 2023 Grassroots Recertifying Licensing Course
This course is for returning Grassroots Referees who have been previously certified and will provide you with the updated training for all U.S. Soccer Grassroots Referees which will reinforce concepts and expand your knowledge base. Grassroots referees can officiate competitive, small-sided or recreational youth and amateur adult matches.
*Register by 9/14 to receive a $20 to discount on your course fee.

- Beginning 8/22/2022 (U7+)
6-7PM Monday Group Training - Deer Park Soccer at Dow Park - Beginning 8/24/2022 (U4 - U6)
6-7PM Wednesday Group Skills Training - Deer Park Soccer Complex - Weekend of 9/10/2022 (U4 - U8) Grassroots Games begin.
Independence League Games* (U9+) should have a similar start date.
*DPSFC does not control the Independence League schedule.

U.S. Soccer provides a free Introduction to Grassroots Coaching course on the U.S. Soccer Learning Center website. "By taking a Grassroots Course, coaches develop competencies to create enjoyable, safe and challenging learning environments for players of all ages."
