RECREATIONAL SOCCER

Recreational registration has closed for Spring 2024.

(Please be aware there will be NO LATE REGISTRATION. If you register late, your child will be added to a waitlist then rostered if space is available.)

Please note - If you did not play in Fall 2021 you and your player will need to make a NEW account with Got Sport with your child's *birth certificate and an accurate email address to ensure you receive club newsletters and announcements regarding registration. 

*You will not be able to register without providing a clear picture (jpeg or png) of your child's birth certificate.

For the Recreational program, the cost is as follows:

• U4 (2019 birth year): $75.00
• All games played in DP
•  2 jerseys are included for home and away play

• U5-U8 (2018 - 2015 birth years): $130.00
• All games played in DP
•  2 jerseys are included for home and away play

• U9+ (2014 - 2008 birth years): $155.00
• Home games played in DP, away games played in Baytown, Mont Belvieu, and Crosby
• 2 jerseys are included for home and away play
  

For the Competitive and Club program, please contact DPSFC at info@dpsfc.com for details on these year long programs. 

Your registration includes two jerseys (home and away) that should be brought to each game.  

By the first practice, all players need:

• Water at all practices and games
• Shin guards (worn under socks)
• Soccer socks
• Soccer cleats
• Black shorts
• Ball
• U4 - U8: Size 3
• U9 - U12: Size 4
• U13+: Size 5

Going forward, DPSFC will follow the South Texas Youth Association (STYSA) age eligibility chart. The player brackets are determined by the calendar year the player is born - not the age of the player.

Deer Park Soccer FC encourages all players, parents & coaches to sign up and download the SportsYou app. We will use this to schedule games, practice and general communications from the league.

During the Fall seasons, the 9U and up age brackets play with Goalies.  The U8 and under age brackets do not play with Goalies.

Since the Spring season is a development season, typically none of the age brackets play with a Goalie during the Spring.  However, the Board will evaluate prior to the start of each season if any modifications of the game rules should or need to be made (including use goalies).  Any modifications to the Game Rules will be published on the DPSFC website.

The registration fee for recreational soccer is only a one time charge. We want to focus on affordable soccer for all kids.

The difference in the registration is to cover the additional expense for the older age group's uniforms (since they are larger sizes they cost more) and registered referees.

• Group practices are targeted to begin in March (Spring) or August (Fall) if all teams have a volunteer coach
• U4-U6 players will have one group training session per week and a possible team session depending on the coach and the team.
• U7+ players will have one group training session and one coach-led session per week.
• In-season games will begin in August.

Group training dates have not yet been determined, and are based on final registration numbers.

We always need volunteer coaches, and no matter how many ways we ask, we never have enough. Please, help us from the beginning and register to be a volunteer coach! We rely on volunteers for the success of our seasons and organization. You can register to be a coach during the player registration process.

You are able to cancel your paid registration prior to the published close of registration and receive a full refund. Any request to cancel a registration after the published close of registration will be reviewed by the Board for refund approval on a case by case basis.  An administrative fee will be deducted from any approved refund after the published close of registration.
